KC Melting Pot proudly presents “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” by Edward Albee, directed by Ile Haggins.
Kansas City, MO. – April 15, 2024 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KC Melting Pot Theatre concludes the 2023/2024 season with Edward Albee’s classic play, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, directed by Ile Haggins.
Featuring an all-black cast, the play delves into themes of race, identity, and power dynamics. The play follows George and Martha, a middle-aged couple as they manage the vulnerabilities of their marriage. Albee’s provocative look at love, marriage, and privilege challenges the thin line between love and hate.
