WinterWonder Band
A Jolly Good Time of Merry Music, Festive Comedy
Heartwarming Carols and Original Tunes!

Kansas City, MO (Oct. 7, 2025) – Kansas City Repertory Theatre announces the return of a hilarious
holiday nightclub performance, WinterWonder Band, for three shows on December 4, 5 and 6 at
Nighthawk, a performance space beneath the Hotel Kansas City at 1228 Baltimore Ave, Kansas City, MO
64105. Featuring a holiday ensemble led by Mrs. Claus herself, portrayed by the dynamic Kansas City
star Shon Ruffin, this misfit crew combines festive comedy with heartwarming carols, upbeat jingles,
and original tunes. Tickets are $30 (General Admission) doors open at 7 P.M. for a 7:30 P.M. curtain, and
WinterWonder Band is over-21 show—the Nighthawk does not admit those under 21 years of age.
Kansas City Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Stuart Carden stated, “We are absolutely delighted to
once again present an entertaining holiday evening with the WinterWonder Band. This ensemble
delivers an incredibly dynamic evening of comedy—filled with humor of the season, anecdotes, playful

Get in the holiday spirit with Mrs. Claus and her merry band! KCRep presents Shon Ruffin’s
WinterWonder Band. Featuring a holiday ensemble led by Mrs. Claus herself (played by Little Shop of
Horrors star Shon Ruffin), WinterWonder Band combines festive comedy with heartwarming carols,
upbeat jingles, and original tunes. Mrs. Claus and her misfit crew promise more than just music—they
deliver a jolly good time filled with humor, anecdotes, and playful banter.
