As you know, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art has remained temporarily closed to support Kansas City’s effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Given the continued news of a major rise of COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City area, it feels necessary for the Museum to delay any plans to reopen at this time.

We are now working to make a virtual version of Elias Sime: Tightrope available for those who are interested.

Additionally, there is some really great programming being offered right now thanks to our amazing museum educators, and we’re planning a full slate of virtual programming for all ages throughout the Fall, including a robust docent-led virtual tour program.
